The skyline to the south of  Mojácar is dominated by the Sierra Cabrera Mountains which rise to 3000 feet above the Mediterranean sea.  It is an area of natural beauty with an abundance of wild flowers and birds.  Nestling within the mountains and just a short ride from the coast is the village of Cabrera itself with all properties built in the Moorish style.  Being so high up it is a ideal place to escape the summer heat and enjoy a cool meal in the excellent restaurants with spectacular views.
