Casa Aurora
Casa Aurora is a completely renovated village house in the heart of a hamlet 4 kilometres from a larger village with all usual facilities. The hamlet is set in hilly countryside, with lots of good walks from the front door.
The house consists of: on the ground floor, entrance into country style Kitchen/Dining room. The luxury Bathroom with full roll top bath is also situated on the ground floor.
On the first floor there is a Double Bedroom and a Sitting Room with log burner for the winter months. Logs can be purchased form the owner.
A peaceful retreat, in a hamlet set in olive, almond and orange groves.

Enjoy the best of all worlds with a stay in Casa Aurora.
Your holiday home is simply but comfortably furnished, light and airy. The hamlet of El Pocico is small and totally unspoiled. In the evenings the locals gather in the square and in the community centre to chat and play cards.
During the day although there is only one small shop, there is no problem with supplies……. The baker daily visits with excellent bread cooked in wood oven in the traditional manner in nearby Lubrín. We also have a fruit and vegetable van, fish and meat vans, and occasionally knife sharpeners, and clothes stalls.
The fiesta is held the first weekend in August when we have games for the children and music and dancing on Saturday evening and a huge communal meal following the procession of our Patron Saint, the Virgin of the Rosary, accompanied by a brass band and an outside mass, held on Sunday.
The main village of Lubrín is 4km away. We have 3 bars serving drinks and tapas, and 2 bar/restaurants, both with interesting décor featuring old farming and household implements and both with excellent menus, a la carte or menu of the day.
A wide range of shops, a post office and medical centre, and a tourist information office can also be found in Lubrín, together with a gym, library, soon to be completed theatre, museum, church, and taxi service. Internet connection can be found in the Gualdalinfo centre.
Further afield within 30-40 minutes we have beaches, caves and a wealth of white villages to visit on the way.
It is possible to visit the historic towns of Murcia, Almería, and the wonders of Granada, all within a day’s excursion.
